Frank and Mercedes are excellent hosts and very customer oriented. Frank met me at the airport and explained the rules on the way to the resort. Frank helped with everything that I asked. He was excellent at arranging activities. He was a much better driver than I expected after reading some of the posts.

The room at the resort was very comfortable with good air conditioning. The common area at the resort was very comfortable for meals and socializing with other guests and chicas. Beware the chicas are good at dominos. All the meals that I had at the resort were very good. We had fresh lobster one night. Other times, we had fresh shrimp and fresh fish.

My chica and I did several excursions:
1) Santo Domingo - toured Los Tres Ojos, Colonial Zone, Lighthouse and lunch. This was a very interesting trip. I hired a guide at Los Tres Ojos and he did an excellent job of explaining the cave. Also, I hired a guide at the Colonial Zone and he did an excellent job of showing us the buildings and explaining the sites.
2) Boca Marina restaurant. This restaurant is in Boca Chica and has dining out over the sea. It resembles a throne or palace over the water. It is impossible to describe how impressive this restaurant was. The food was excellent. I think this was the best restaurant that I found during my stay. I highly recommend it.
2) Catamaran Trip. This was a very enjoyable trip, however quite long. We left about 8 AM and got back about 8 PM. The guide was very good. The catamaran takes you out to Isla Saona for drinks, lunch and dancing. On the way back, there is stop at a swimming hole which is cool and refreshing. It is easy to get a bad sunburn on this trip.
3) Cueva de las Maravillas near San Pedro, Chavon River, and Altos de Chavon. The cave tour is very organized. The guide was very knowledgeable. The village (Altos de Chavon) is very impressive with some amazing views of the Chavon River.
4) Santo Domingo Trip 2 with three chicas - Cave Restaurant, La Guacara Taina (nightclub), Jet Set (nightclub). The Cave Restaurant was good. However, I did not like the smell of kerosene which is used for the lighting. I may go there again and try to sit away from the lights. La Guacara Taina is a nightclub in a cave. There was no dancing, so we did not stay very long. Jet Set was an excellent night club for dancing. They played a lot meringue, bachata, salsa, mambo and some techno music. It was fun making an entrance with three chicas. Also, it was fun dancing with three chicas. I highly recomment Jet Set.
5) Casino a couple of times. The casino near the resort was great. It was even better the second time we went. My chica won a lot playing blackjack. A happy and excited chica is more fun.
6) El Sueno Restaurant (near resort) a couple of times. This restaurant is near the resort. It has good food and reasonable prices.

Other activities
We did several other things including going to the beach several times, walking to the shops and stores near the resort.

Other guests
The other guests at the resort were great. It was interesting meeting and getting to know the other guests. It is more fun to share activities and cabs with other guests. It gives the guys a chance to talk in English and the chicas a chance to talk in Spanish.

Chicas
The chicas were the best part. There was a variety of girls at the resort. On the way from the airport, Frank asked me what kind of girl I like. After I answered, Frank made some suggestions. At the casting, I asked a few questions and decided to follow Frank's suggestion. I made a good choice and keep the same chica for my entire stay. By the end of my trip, she was my novia. The experience was good and a real GFE. I did choose two more chicas who were friends with my main chica to go to Santo Domingo to have dinner and dance.

Thanks to Frank, Mercedes, my main chica (novia), other chicas and staff. I had a great time.

The right-hander has a fastball that tops out at about 40 mph. He throws so hard that the Youth Baseball League of New Haven told his coach that the boy could not pitch any more. When Jericho took the mound anyway last week, the opposing team forfeited the game, packed its gear and left, his coach said.

“I think it’s discouraging when you’re telling a 9-year-old you’re too good at something,” said his mother, Nicole Scott. “The whole objective in life is to find something you’re good at and stick with it. I’d rather he spend all his time on the baseball field than idolizing someone standing on the street corner.”

League attorney Peter Noble says the only factor in banning Jericho from the mound is his pitches are just too fast.

“He is a very skilled player, a very hard thrower,” Noble said. “There are a lot of beginners. This is not a high-powered league. This is a developmental league whose main purpose is to promote the sport.”

“Facing that kind of speed” is frighteneing for beginning players, Noble said.

League officials suggested that Jericho play other positions, or pitch against older players or in a different league.

Local attorney John Williams was planning to meet with Jericho’s parents Monday to discuss legal options.

ROME - An Italian priest and theologian said Sunday he is organizing an online beauty pageant for nuns to give them more visibility within the Catholic Church and to fight the stereotype that they are all old and dour.

The "Miss Sister 2008" contest will start in September on a blog run by the Rev. Antonio Rungi and will give nuns from around the world a chance to showcase their work and their image.

"Nuns are a bit excluded, they are a bit marginalized in ecclesiastical life," Rungi told The Associated Press after Italian media carried reports of the idea. "This will be an occasion to make their contribution more visible."

Rungi, a theologian and schoolteacher from the Naples area, said that visitors to his site will have a month to "vote for the nun they consider a model."

Nuns will fill out a profile including information about their life and vocation as well as a photograph. It will be up to them to choose whether to pose with the traditional veil or with their heads uncovered.

"We are not going to parade nuns in bathing suits," Rungi said by telephone from his town of Mondragone. "But being ugly is not a requirement for becoming a nun. External beauty is gift from God, and we mustn't hide it."

Rungi said the idea was first suggested to him by nuns with whom he regularly prays and works. He hopes there will be dozens of submissions once the Web site is started.

The contest drew criticism from the association of Catholic teachers.

"It's an initiative that belittles the role of nuns who have dedicated themselves to God," the group's president, Alberto Giannino, told Italy's ANSA news agency on Sunday.]]>

Having driven to Manchester the day before, the flight departed on time ( 11.00 ). I flew Thomas Cook, Premier Class, which wasn’t as grand as it sounds, but was certainly a lot better than the standard Charter Airlines “Cattle Class”. From where I’m based ( in Scotland ) there were three options to get to the DR :-

1) drive to Manchester, fly direct to Punta Cana and then take a local flight
( known as the “Spitfire” ) to Santo Domingo

2) fly Glasgow / Amsterdam / Paris / DR

3) fly Glasgow / London / Spain / DR.

Was met at the airport by Frank, as expected, and taken to the Hotel. On the drive I was given the “Do’s & Don’ts” and asked what sort of girl I was looking for ? My preference is for the petite lady, I don’t smoke so would prefer that she didn’t, I don’t speak any Spanish, so would prefer that she spoke some English, I’m a swimmer / scuba diver so ideally she should be confident in the water. When we got to the hotel I went straight to the room for a shower and to get changed, arrived back downstairs, gifts in hand ( Frank is partial to a good Scotch, Shortbread for his wife Mercedes ) ready to face the “Casting Call” – 5 Chicas in a row. I asked if any of them spoke English, none admitted to doing so, but the first Chica smirked, which was a bit of a give away. She was a slim but buxom girl, and my preference is for the less well endowed. Then the smoking question, which ruled out another two. During the proceedings Chica number three had been giving me the eye, when she admitted to being a swimmer, my mind was made up – well 3 out 4’s not bad ! ( and it seems that the English speaking Chicas are in the minority ). Number 3 turns out to be B****** a D.R. girl that I later find out is 26, tho’ could pass for a lot younger, U.K dress size 6, raven black hair; definitely fitting my concept of “less is more” !

And this is where my intention to keep a daily diary goes completely adrift – due in the main to my rapid decent into “vacation mindset” and the continual female distractions; as a result the remainder of this report is a summary of my experiences, written a week after I got home.

My Chicas

During my two week stay, I had my first chica throughout. For the second week I took on an additional ( second ) chica. The second chica was a friend of the first, so there was minimal friction between them and a good time was had by all ( well, by me anyway ).

Buddies

On my second day, a guy arrived from Seattle. He was a little older than me, but from a similar background, so we hit it off immediately. He and I together with respective chicas spent a lot of time together. We did a number of excursions, shopping trips, etc. and had a number of meals out. He had three different chicas during his stay. The first was apparently delightful, but he changed because he could ! The second chica was nice and had an excellent grasp of English which made communication between us all a lot easier; however she seemed to loose interest, so he swapped again for a new chica – new to him and new to the establishment; she was absolutely stunning! good English ( understood a lot more than she spoke – as many of them do ! ) wonderful personality, excellent sense of humour, and generally a delight to be with. He was so impressed that he extended his stay for an extra few days to spend more time with her. We became known as the 5 amigos !

When my first buddy eventually left, he was replaced by a guy from New York, another very likeable fellow, who picked the same, stunning, chica. As a result, we were still the 5 amigos ! On my last night at the Resort, my new buddy ( and his chica ) kindly consented to join me and my two chicas for dinner and later a game of pool. A very pleasant evening, marred only by my imminent departure.

Excursions

During my two week stay, we spent several half-days at the beach, went to the casino on two occasions, went quad biking three times, ate out on six occasions, went on an all day catamaran excursion, visited San Pedro ( shopping ) twice and Santo Domingo ( shopping again ) twice.

The beach local to the hotel is beautiful, ‘though very busy ( locals ) at the week-ends. The sea temperature was 30 degrees Celsius ! The catamaran trip was, in my opinion, a bit of a let down; a group of us from the resort negotiated a rate for the exclusive use of the catamaran, for a day, to a private beach, on an island about 50 minutes boat-ride from the mainland. The catamaran usually takes up to 40 passengers from various resorts, hotels etc. Food, drink and diving was included. The departure point was from a town that was over an hours drive down the coast. The boat was mediocre, the beach wasn’t private to us, but was a private beach used by a conglomerate of tour companies so we were sharing it with literally hundreds of others ( many of them families ). When I enquired about diving, I was offered a mask and snorkel, not a set of scuba gear ! Suffice to say, I wasn’t impressed. I am going back to the resort again, but I won’t be doing the catamaran trip.

The quad bike tours are great ~ the chicas love it ! especially if you get them a quad of their own to ride. $65 per quad for 2+ hours of a guided tour through the local townships and into the sugar cane plantations.

Casino

The casino will send transport to collect you, and subsequently bring you back to the hotel. It need be said that I’m not a gambler. On the first occasion I gave my chica 1500 Pesos ( £22 ), which she lost on the slot machines; I then gave her another 500 which she converted into over 4000 ( slots again ). Whilst you’re parting with money, the casino staff keep you supplied with drink. The next day, my chica asked if we could go to Western Union ~ she wanted to send her 4000 winnings home to her family.

On the second occasion, I gave each of my chicas 1500 Pesos, which kept them occupied ( slots again ) for several hours. My second buddy, his chica and I played BlackJack. I managed to make 1000 pesos last about 90 minutes ( at one point I was about 1200 pesos up, but slowly lost the lot ). I don’t know how much my buddy gave his chica, but she came away from the table with a pot full of chips. The next day, at breakfast, she offered him his stake money back, saying that she had done well ~ he refused to take it. I mention this to show that not all of the chicas are constantly on the take !

Shopping

We went to Santo Domingo twice and San Pedro twice. The first visit to San Pedro ( with one chica ) was before the arrival of my first buddy. The first trip to Santo Domingo and the second trip to San Pedro was with my first buddy ( we both had one chica ) and the second trip to Santo Domingo was with my second buddy, his chica and my two.

Santo Domingo is, I would say, more of a tourist destination than San Pedro. In Santo Domingo there are air conditioned shopping malls, in San Pedro there are individual shops fronting the street.

On the first outings, we would wander around the store(s), either as a group or a couple. When a chica sees something that she fancies, she will hold it up for your “approval”, if you approve of it, then you buy it. Now, my experience of women as a breed isn’t that extensive, but I do know that the purchase of a new top requires the purchase of matching shoes, and if you don’t want your chica washing her underwear in the shower, you need to buy new to replace old……………… If you don’t keep a mental tally of what you’re spending, it can get a little out of hand !

The solution that my first buddy and I came up with was to take the chicas into the first shop and give them a sum of money ( typically 2000 Pesos - £30 - $60 ) and tell them that that was their allowance for the day. The reaction of the chicas varied :-

• Some would spend it all and come back looking for more
• Some would spend some and give the balance to their mates ( if we were in a group )
• Some would spend a little and save a little

But all of them were usually happy !

Interestingly, on my second trip to San Pedro, the chicas directed our taxi driver to what I considered ( by comparison ) to be a high end fashion store. My buddy and I gave each chica ( my two and his one ) 2000 Pesos each ~ their shopping allowance for the afternoon. One of my chicas picked out a canary yellow top ( priced at 1200 pesos ) and then found a matching pair of yellow shoes ( priced at 1050 pesos ) both of which she presented to me first with a smile and then a pout ~ obviously hoping for a further allowance to buy both. I held my ground. When the other two chicas had finished making their selections, all three of them trooped up to the cashier, mine in front; after a heated conversation, all three chicas dropped their purchases and made for the door, only to be stopped by management. After further discussion, all three chicas paid for their goods and left the shop happy. I can only assume that rather than loose 6000 pesos worth of business, the shop discounted their prices. I don’t think for one minute, that I could have achieved a discount; as a result, the chicas got goods greater than the value of the money that we gave them.

Chicas ( in general )

The chicas are employed by the resort to provide the clients with sex and companionship. I don’t know what they’re paid, but I believe it to be a considerable amount compared to what they could otherwise earn. What the chicas can get from the clients is, I presume, the icing on the cake.

I decided on day 4 that I was going to keep my first chica for the duration, and told her so ( so long as she was “nice” to me ). I believe this gave her a sense of security ~ she was going to earn 14 days pay, she was going to be taken shopping several times, she was going to get excursions etc.

Some of the chicas are picked from the casting call, not knowing if they’re going to be “working” for only 1 or 2 days before being swapped for another chica, so in my opinion it’s only natural for them to “maximise” every opportunity to “take” from the client.

Without doubt, the more you put in to the “relationship” the more you will get out.

If you’re a younger guy looking to fuck a chica two or three times in 24 hours and move on to the next, then the best of luck to you. The chicas will oblige, because they’re paid to be there. If you’re looking for more of the “Girl Friend” experience ( as I was ) then committing to a chica ( or two ) for a longer period pays dividends, in my opinion.

As stated, I was there for two weeks. During that time I came to know many of the chicas quite well. The capacity of the hotel is 6 clients, who will each have at least 1 chica. In addition there were at least another 3 chicas living on site that would socialise with us. Their primary function, I believe, was to be available should there be a sudden falling out between a client and his chica, or the onset of a chicas period etc. If you add in the cook and the maid there would usually be at least 10 lovely ladies on site. There are additional chicas who reside at an apartment away from the resort, who are called in to make up the numbers for the casting calls. Whereas there were some of the chicas that I wouldn’t take to bed, the vast majority of them I would be happy to socialise with. On the morning that I left, at 08.45 ( which is pre-dawn for most chicas who struggle to appear for a last breakfast at 09.30 ) there were 5 chicas in addition to my two, who appeared fully dressed and made up, to see me off the premises. A gesture that I greatly appreciated ~ I look forward to seeing them all again next month.

The Resort ( and Staff )

In a word excellent !

The management team consist of husband and wife team Frank & Mercedes.

Frank can be a little daunting at first, his command of the English language wouldn’t impress the queen, but is more than adequate ( and some would say, quite appropriate ) for the function that he fulfils ). If you have a problem, request, concern, talk to Frank. If it involves a chica, Frank will talk to Mercedes, who will resolve the issue.

Mercedes, who the chicas call Mama, doesn’t speak English.

The first week I was at the Resort, there was a chef, a cook and a maid. The second week the chef was on leave, but the cook stepped into his shoes without any problem. The food at the resort is both excellent and plentiful. The guests don’t eat out in search of better or different food, just for a change of scenery.

If you make an effort to converse with them, the staff have varying degrees of English ( certainly more than my Spanish ) and as said before, understand more that they speak.

The impression that I came away with, is that if you’re considerate and polite, nothing is too much trouble.

Scuba Diving

As previously stated, I’m a keen Scuba Diver. As a result of forum communications prior to my departure, I undertook to investigate the local dive operation. There may be a group of us in the future interested in a dual purpose vacation ~ dive by day, chicas by night !

Frank had a brochure for Treasure Divers, based in the town. I asked him to book me in for a mornings diving, having ascertained that neither of my chicas were interested in a try-dive ( which was a bit of a disappointment ). It turns out that I was booked in with Pro-Dive, who operate out of a large resort hotel at the other end of town.

I was asked all of the right questions by their Dive Instructor and given an adequate briefing by their Dive Master. The two dives were first a wreck dive ( 28m – 90’ ) and then a reef dive ( 12m – 40’ ) with a 70 minute Surface Interval. Water temperature at 28m was 30 C.

The wreck dive was nice, about a 6 minute boat ride. The boat was past its best, but adequate for the job. The wreck had been gutted and sunk about 12 years ago and was in good condition, though not much in the way of fish.

The reef dive was a little closer inshore, the corrals didn’t have a lot of colour, due I presume to the high water temperature and salinity. Again there wasn’t a lot of fish life. It was explained that a number of the locals exist by fishing, as a result there are a number of nets deployed most mornings at dawn, which over the years has decimated the fish stocks.

I’ve been vary fortunate in that I’ve managed to dive some of the best sites in the Northern Hemisphere, as a result of this one experience in the D.R., I wouldn’t make a serious effort to dive here again other than on a casual basis. Having said that, I’d be prepared to try another dive operation at another locality.

In Conclusion

I had a bloody good time and I look forward to going back.

Whilst I was away, I spent £1200 ( $2400 ) on incidentals such as shopping, excursions etc. which is in line with the $150 - $200 per day that was intimated in previous reports.

In general I tried to arrange one event per day for myself and my chica(s) in which we were often joined by my buddies and their chicas. An event could be shopping, quad biking, going out to dinner, visiting the casino or taking an excursion.

I found that very little tended to happen in the mornings, other than relaxing and socialising. If we went out quad biking it tended to be in the late afternoon after the mid-day sun started to decline. It was evident that most guests took the opportunity to exercise with their chicas after lunch, before taking a siesta.

Bang per Buck / Pussy per Pound

Two weeks at the resort, plus return airfare cost me £3,500 ( $7,000 ) the second chica for the second week was an additional £700 ( $1,400 ).

I didn’t have the stamina to take full advantage of the sex that was available. I’m given to understand that some of the shorter duration guests were averaging 2.5 sessions a day ~ so that equates to 35 potential opportunities. With one chica that’s £100 ( $200 ) a pop ! in addition to like minded company, fine food, virtually unlimited drink, accommodation ( including laundry ) etc. etc.

Value for Money ? Compared to an average of £120 for an hour with a working girl, I certainly think so.]]>
Having driven to Manchester the day before, the flight departed on time ( 11.00 ). I flew Thomas Cook, Premier Class, which wasn’t as grand as it sounds, but was certainly a lot better than the standard Charter Airlines “Cattle Class”. From where I’m based ( in Scotland ) there were three options to get to the DR :-

1) drive to Manchester, fly direct to Punta Cana and then take a local flight
( known as the “Spitfire” ) to Santo Domingo

2) fly Glasgow / Amsterdam / Paris / DR

3) fly Glasgow / London / Spain / DR.

Was met at the airport by Frank, as expected, and taken to the Hotel. On the drive I was given the “Do’s & Don’ts” and asked what sort of girl I was looking for ? My preference is for the petite lady, I don’t smoke so would prefer that she didn’t, I don’t speak any Spanish, so would prefer that she spoke some English, I’m a swimmer / scuba diver so ideally she should be confident in the water. When we got to the hotel I went straight to the room for a shower and to get changed, arrived back downstairs, gifts in hand ( Frank is partial to a good Scotch, Shortbread for his wife Mercedes ) ready to face the “Casting Call” – 5 Chicas in a row. I asked if any of them spoke English, none admitted to doing so, but the first Chica smirked, which was a bit of a give away. She was a slim but buxom girl, and my preference is for the less well endowed. Then the smoking question, which ruled out another two. During the proceedings Chica number three had been giving me the eye, when she admitted to being a swimmer, my mind was made up – well 3 out 4’s not bad ! ( and it seems that the English speaking Chicas are in the minority ). Number 3 turns out to be B****** a D.R. girl that I later find out is 26, tho’ could pass for a lot younger, U.K dress size 6, raven black hair; definitely fitting my concept of “less is more” !

And this is where my intention to keep a daily diary goes completely adrift – due in the main to my rapid decent into “vacation mindset” and the continual female distractions; as a result the remainder of this report is a summary of my experiences, written a week after I got home.

My Chicas

During my two week stay, I had my first chica throughout. For the second week I took on an additional ( second ) chica. The second chica was a friend of the first, so there was minimal friction between them and a good time was had by all ( well, by me anyway ).

Buddies

On my second day, a guy arrived from Seattle. He was a little older than me, but from a similar background, so we hit it off immediately. He and I together with respective chicas spent a lot of time together. We did a number of excursions, shopping trips, etc. and had a number of meals out. He had three different chicas during his stay. The first was apparently delightful, but he changed because he could ! The second chica was nice and had an excellent grasp of English which made communication between us all a lot easier; however she seemed to loose interest, so he swapped again for a new chica – new to him and new to the establishment; she was absolutely stunning! good English ( understood a lot more than she spoke – as many of them do ! ) wonderful personality, excellent sense of humour, and generally a delight to be with. He was so impressed that he extended his stay for an extra few days to spend more time with her. We became known as the 5 amigos !

When my first buddy eventually left, he was replaced by a guy from New York, another very likeable fellow, who picked the same, stunning, chica. As a result, we were still the 5 amigos ! On my last night at the Resort, my new buddy ( and his chica ) kindly consented to join me and my two chicas for dinner and later a game of pool. A very pleasant evening, marred only by my imminent departure.

Excursions

During my two week stay, we spent several half-days at the beach, went to the casino on two occasions, went quad biking three times, ate out on six occasions, went on an all day catamaran excursion, visited San Pedro ( shopping ) twice and Santo Domingo ( shopping again ) twice.

The beach local to the hotel is beautiful, ‘though very busy ( locals ) at the week-ends. The sea temperature was 30 degrees Celsius ! The catamaran trip was, in my opinion, a bit of a let down; a group of us from the resort negotiated a rate for the exclusive use of the catamaran, for a day, to a private beach, on an island about 50 minutes boat-ride from the mainland. The catamaran usually takes up to 40 passengers from various resorts, hotels etc. Food, drink and diving was included. The departure point was from a town that was over an hours drive down the coast. The boat was mediocre, the beach wasn’t private to us, but was a private beach used by a conglomerate of tour companies so we were sharing it with literally hundreds of others ( many of them families ). When I enquired about diving, I was offered a mask and snorkel, not a set of scuba gear ! Suffice to say, I wasn’t impressed. I am going back to the resort again, but I won’t be doing the catamaran trip.

The quad bike tours are great ~ the chicas love it ! especially if you get them a quad of their own to ride. $65 per quad for 2+ hours of a guided tour through the local townships and into the sugar cane plantations.

Casino

The casino will send transport to collect you, and subsequently bring you back to the hotel. It need be said that I’m not a gambler. On the first occasion I gave my chica 1500 Pesos ( £22 ), which she lost on the slot machines; I then gave her another 500 which she converted into over 4000 ( slots again ). Whilst you’re parting with money, the casino staff keep you supplied with drink. The next day, my chica asked if we could go to Western Union ~ she wanted to send her 4000 winnings home to her family.

On the second occasion, I gave each of my chicas 1500 Pesos, which kept them occupied ( slots again ) for several hours. My second buddy, his chica and I played BlackJack. I managed to make 1000 pesos last about 90 minutes ( at one point I was about 1200 pesos up, but slowly lost the lot ). I don’t know how much my buddy gave his chica, but she came away from the table with a pot full of chips. The next day, at breakfast, she offered him his stake money back, saying that she had done well ~ he refused to take it. I mention this to show that not all of the chicas are constantly on the take !

Shopping

We went to Santo Domingo twice and San Pedro twice. The first visit to San Pedro ( with one chica ) was before the arrival of my first buddy. The first trip to Santo Domingo and the second trip to San Pedro was with my first buddy ( we both had one chica ) and the second trip to Santo Domingo was with my second buddy, his chica and my two.

Santo Domingo is, I would say, more of a tourist destination than San Pedro. In Santo Domingo there are air conditioned shopping malls, in San Pedro there are individual shops fronting the street.

On the first outings, we would wander around the store(s), either as a group or a couple. When a chica sees something that she fancies, she will hold it up for your “approval”, if you approve of it, then you buy it. Now, my experience of women as a breed isn’t that extensive, but I do know that the purchase of a new top requires the purchase of matching shoes, and if you don’t want your chica washing her underwear in the shower, you need to buy new to replace old……………… If you don’t keep a mental tally of what you’re spending, it can get a little out of hand !

The solution that my first buddy and I came up with was to take the chicas into the first shop and give them a sum of money ( typically 2000 Pesos - £30 - $60 ) and tell them that that was their allowance for the day. The reaction of the chicas varied :-

• Some would spend it all and come back looking for more
• Some would spend some and give the balance to their mates ( if we were in a group )
• Some would spend a little and save a little

But all of them were usually happy !

Interestingly, on my second trip to San Pedro, the chicas directed our taxi driver to what I considered ( by comparison ) to be a high end fashion store. My buddy and I gave each chica ( my two and his one ) 2000 Pesos each ~ their shopping allowance for the afternoon. One of my chicas picked out a canary yellow top ( priced at 1200 pesos ) and then found a matching pair of yellow shoes ( priced at 1050 pesos ) both of which she presented to me first with a smile and then a pout ~ obviously hoping for a further allowance to buy both. I held my ground. There are questions raised about decisions every Olympics (That's why there are no more Perfect 10's).
