FANS-TASTIC

Dennis Wise was quick to praise both his players and the fans after Saturday's 4-1 win against Southend United at Elland Road.
Goals from Alan Thompson, Tore Andre Flo, Rui Marques, and Jermaine Beckford sealed the win after Southend had levelled matters at 1-1.
The game was watched by 24,036 - over 1,500 more than watched last season's opening home game - and the fans played a big part in a final flurry that saw three goals in the final five minutes.
"I thought we were fantastic in the second half," said Dennis.
"We conceded a goal where we were a bit unfortunate because Matty (Heath) slipped, but the lads responded well and that was down to the fans.
"The fans reacted straight away and that lifted the lads.
"I was disappointed at 1-1 because I felt we should have been further in front, and we deserved the win.

"We're performing well at the moment and we're looking very strong."
The win reduces the points deficit to minus nine and confidence is high in the camp after three straight victories.
"It was important that we won this game," added the boss.
"Tranmere was important last weekend and our first home game was very important.
"There's a long, long way to go, though and we have to keep our feet on the ground."
The bad news was the loss of Ian Westlake and Andrew Hughes through injury. Westy will go for a scan early next week.
Dennis also confirmed his interest in bringing in Wolves defender Jamie Clapham on loan, but stressed that no deal is done as yet.

Chris you are quite correct I did say that, and, I stand by my comments. I don't like that cockney twat one bit, he's about as good at football management as I am at nuclear physics! Plus that idiot he has as a number 2 isn't any better but as long as Ken Bates is "at the helm" Wise will remain there.

It's about supporting the team as you know. If we ever get back to the Premiership I am confident that useless cunt will be long gone.

Again you are correct, Leeds have found their level in League 1 with the players we have at the moment we would get shredded in the Championship and the Premiership. Again I am hopeful that we can gain promotion at the first attempt, a big ask I know, which will piss off all those wankers in the football league who are desperate for Leeds to fail and go into liquidation.

Anyway, fuck you, fuck the football league and fuck those Munich bastards over the border:

We all love Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and we all fuckin' love Leeds

Quote:Do you think Master Bates is the root of the Leeds problems?

Quote:I think that most football supporters (and yes, I include myself, even though ChrisV would claim that Torquay aren't a football club) do not want to see the demise of Leeds. What they want to see the back of are con artists and del-boy type chairmen ruining the clubs for their own ends.
