While the stream of new arrivals looks like continuing, Eddie Lewis was handed his own accolade last week when the ACTIM Index - the official ratings partner of the Football League - named him Player of the Season so far.
His form has also been recognised by the fans who gave him a festive hat-trick of "man of the match" awards.
Away from the pitch Eddie took time out to visit Leeds Mencap last week when he presented a cheque for ?580 from the club's share of the Football Foundation money. Eddie and his family visited the centre which he admits is close to his heart.
