Well so much for the Raiders doing the right thing. This years draft was definitely different. I wonder if the Raiders draft a new owner next year? Some teams did the right things and others ....... well most people seem to think they blew it, only time will tell. According the various articles the Raiders were not the only team to make mistakes or address their needs, however there choice was considered the biggest one by far.

I do think it funny that the 3 biggest mistakes are all in the AFC West (Raiders, Broncos & Chargers). Maybe I should just skip this season or only watch NFC games. While some other teams didn't draft to fill their needs, I think they'll be looking for free agents over the next couple of months. The Lions drafted a Quarterback but they have a lot more help to turn them around.
Well there seems to be little interest in the NFL this year but I had to post this link for the Oakland Raiders - they had a pigeon helping out on defense this past Sunday. What makes this even funnier is they were playing the Eagles.

Well we're going into week 15 of the seasons with 2 unbeaten teams and some very good match-ups yet to be played. The 49'ers beat the Cardinals (for the 3rd time) keeping their hopes of a wild card spot alive. The Bears haven't done as well as I had hoped but there is always next year. One thing for sure the playoffs this year should be interesting to watch (Yes the Raiders will be watching them yet again, as will the Lions, Rams, Browns, Chiefs, Bills & Texans - not to mention the Buccaneers - Missing Jon Gruden yet?).
You forgot Washington as a team destined to watch the post season play on TV. The team has a few bright spots this season but could not overcome their meddling owner, Dan Snider. A local newspaper has once again annointed him as Unsportsmanlike Sports Figure of the year.
