But we have always admitted that we are shite!
Leeds 3 - 1 Peterborough

The first half wasnt great, we allowed Peterborough far too much of the ball and they controlled the midfield. Becchio is both off form and very tired, he didnt provide an outlet for us so more often than not, the ball was straight back at us.

The second half started very much the same until Beckford came on, he gave us pace up front, he gave the Peterborough defence something to worry about and once we scored we were a different side. A side playing with confidence.
Two decent goals and it was all us, we conceeded a scrambled goal and then sealed it during the 4 minutes of injury time, lord knows how it was 4 but who cares, Howson swept in the 3rd after a long ball that broke the Posh defence...

Naylor was a fine captain and has a solid game, Trundle held the ball well and played a superb ball for Becks second. Howson came on and looked a better player, did the basics right, he was trying too hard under Macca.

Incidentally, the referee was a joke, the Peterborough midfielders had a spell where they made 3 fouls, trips, holding back the usual, but no bookings. Then Delph slid in, put the ball out of play and god booked - a joke, absolute joke, and to rub salt in, Peterborough then did a far worse tackle, took the man and gave us a free kick, but despite questions being asked by SG to the 4th official, the players to the ref and everyone in Elland Road it seemed it was not worth a yellow card.

The best bit, we got even on the pitch. 3-1 Leeds, and we sent home the Posh and their ref with nowt.
